Recorded over ten immersive days, This Bed Was Made For Me explores heritage, love, belonging, and our relationship with the natural world through intimate songwriting and rich analog textures.

The first single, "The Ground Here," features Buck Meek and reflects on longing for the rivers and seasons of Biita's Ozark home while living in drought-stricken Southern California. Every aspect of the project-from the music to the handmade quilt on the album cover-was created with patience, care, and a deep commitment to craft.

Now based in New York's Catskill Mountains, Biita Houdei creates timeless folk music for listeners who value albums as complete works of art.
